ABOUT LUÍZA BOÊ

Singer and songwriter from Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, Luíza Boê sings as someone exploring life: loves, pains, deaths, and new beginnings are the raw material of her compositions, influenced by poetry, spirituality, Brazilian popular music, and folk culture. She believes in the healing and creative power of words, thus seeing composition as a force for individual and collective transformation.

Currently pursuing a degree in Popular Singing at FASM, Luíza is working on her third studio album, scheduled for release in 2024. In 2023, she toured with the 'Terramar' tour with support from Secult-ES, featuring collaborations with Illy and Manoel Cordeiro. In 2017, she released her debut single "Cocoon" and participated in the second season of the Lounge program on Canal BIS. In 2018, she released her first original album, produced by Hugo Noguchi, emerging as one of the leading figures in the new Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) scene. In 2019, she launched the EP "Terramar," produced by Kassin, featuring collaborations with Otto, Catatau, and Jaques Morelenbaum. All releases gained prominence on digital platforms, leading the artist to be featured twice on Spotify's "Novo Som" playlist, and "Cocoon" was among the "50 most viral" tracks. Additionally, it was included in the soundtrack of the American series 'Resident Alien' on SYFY. The songs "Mãe" and "Eu digo sim" are used by various psychologists and therapists in their work.
